If Gatti did beat her up, like it was reported on BS a while back, and if he did argue with her and throw her down to the street in public, and cause injuries to her arm and chin, i can damn near promise you, that this was not the second time this thing has happened. On top of that he got a taxi ride home and left her to walk, that is some ******* **** to do....

My dad used to whoop the **** out of my mom..... This isnt just something that happens once and that is it.... This is a constant and chronic problem that people have.... My mom flipped just like Gatti's wife, and broke my dad's ribs....

And sometimes, as in this case, she couldnt take anymore.... People have a limit... Seems like there were some skeletons in the closet.....

Its like a kid in school that gets picked on by a bully constantly.... Finally, they have enough... Thats what I think happened here....

Again, I am not saying this was right, and I dont wish death on anybody.... But I think that Gatti's wife had reached her limit and couldnt take it anymore... Was it right to kill Arturo?? HELL NO... But once someone gets pushed to the limit time after time, they finally go over the edge...

If she didnt kill him, he would have just whooped her ass even more...

I am sure thats what she was thinking...

I mean she tried to stab him in the head, I am sure he woke up, and tried to do something so she strangles him....

Yeah a lot of people are overlooking that and completely bashing his wife, you got to look at it at both sides. This isn't the first time a woman being abused has allegedly killed her husband. I wonder if everybody's responses were the same in those instances. And what if it was a woman in your family?

Gatti beat his ex-girlfriend who I believe was with him for his last fight against Alfonso Gomez. He married the woman who is suspected of murdering him only recently.

I do think that due to Gatti's history of being abusive towards women that people should not yet start condoning his wife until all the facts are out. It does look to me however, based on what I've read, that Gatti's wife killed him for reasons other than self-defense/revenge.

I feel sorry for Gatti despite his actions because his life seemed to go into a downward spiral after his boxing career was over. Boxing is what seemingly held him together and after it was over he no longer had control over himself.

Its like this...

She was in a position in life that she could have never achieved her self.... She loved Arturo because of what she gave and what he did for her..... There is a sense of loyalty there... Not only that, woman, more than men, want the best for their children and doesnt want to be left high and dry as a single mother...

Check this out..... My mother and father had a kid before they were married... Well my mom and dad got married... On the HONEYMOON my dad whooped her ass.... My mom loved him and did whatever she could for him and saw that as his only downfall.... She figured she could live with it to make a better life for her and her kids and have a family.... See that is a woman's dream, the fairy tale happy family.... Throughout the marriage this continued and my mom starting fighting back and broke 3 or 4 ribs..... Try to do this and that....

Well 20 years later, she was tired of taking his **** and they split up.....

Women do it for the families sake... For the child's sake.....
