at first he denied it. only after he was charged and punished did he admit it.

he's from uruguay though and in the context of which it is used, it could be offensive even to latin americans. i bet if someone called giovanni dos santos a negrito. he'd be trying to fight. even though he's darker sturridge.

It isn't offensive. There is no such thing as racism in Latin America.

All my friends that have heard and know about the case believe it was wrong to punish Suarez. It was simply a cultural misunderstanding and Suarez was used as a scapegoat to be made an "example of".

Negrito is just blacky. Not the n bomb.

One thing all Hispanics do is refer to people by their physical attributes. This is either if you know the person or you don't.

Same way if u were playing football with someone you don't know and he's wearing a red shirt. Obviously to get his attention your going to call him red shirt.

A simple misunderstanding.

Suarez is innocent and I would gladly wear the free Suarez shirt or whatever it said. He has my support.
