Oh and ronaldo was used in a front 3 with tevez and Rooney rotating mid game.. He was used on the wing his first couple of years before he turned into a legend

"Their". And it is their job. A good attacking player will defend from the front. Rooney plays sitting just ahead of midfield and provides an engine from defense to attack. That's his job on the team.

He was a winger who spent far too long faffing around doing stepovers and giving schoolboys like you wood without being able to provide the finished product with a decent cross or shot on goal. He's improved his finishing now and doesn't constantly run into dead ends trying to make the boys swoon at his footwork but now he's up against the might and power of all the shit teams in the Spanish league.
