Can it happen in 2010? Mayweather vs Khan?

I rarely make Floyd threads so here's my Floyd thread in like a decade.

Say Khan beats Kotelnik impressively and then fights and beats Hatton in a farewell fight in the UK. Let's dream some more and say Khan beats Victor Ortiz(I know, Wow) Moves up to 147 in 2010 looking for bigger fights. Then let's say Floyd has beaten Marquez and Pacquiao already.

Can Khan vs Mayweather happen some time in 2010?

You can laugh at it now, but 2-3 years ago you mention Pacquiao vs Mayweather and you would get laughed at. Now you have people actually planning on betting for Pacquiao against Mayweather.

If Khan goes on a tear at 140 and people get all hyped about him and give him a shot at beating Floyd...then why not?

The fight would make $en$e if Khan gets a few big wins from here to late 2010.

Let me remind you all, i would love to see Floyd vs Mosley/Cotto. But what if those fights die down? what if fans start hyping up Khan vs Mayweather?

No one should laugh at this, let's not forget years ago there where threads demanding a VIVAN HARRIS vs FLOYD MAYWEATHER JR fight. What happened now? where is Vivian Harris? Yup, you guessed it, it died down. No one cared about him anymore, no one saw him as a big threat to Floyd anymore. It was then Hatton and Baldomir the big threats(as fans/Brian Kenny claimed).

Amir Khan vs Floyd Mayweather Jr in Late 2010.

Who sees this like i do?

    Discuss.

It can happen, but Khan's got to have a lot of things go way. In my mind he's got to avenge the prescott loss impressively.

Hey you never know. 2-3 years ago Mayweather vs Pacquiao was a complete abuse, total annihilation for Floyd. Now it's being called by many posters as, the fight of the decade.(I disagree but it is a pretty big fight).

Khan is at 140 now, he's no Feather-Super Featherweight, he's going to be at JWW now. The fight is not that farfetched if you think about it.

I think Kotelnik knocks Khan out.
