Mayweather Sr and Freddie Roach AGREE! Hatton "DAMAGED GOODS" after Floyd Jr. loss.

    Here's a few quotes.

"I took everything out of Hatton, he has nothing left" - Floyd Mayweather Jr.

"Hatton is not the same fighter after his loss to Floyd, he took something out of him which is why he was on Shaky legs against Lazcano" - Freddie Roach

    and now...

"Sometimes when you get KO'd like that by my son, you lose your chin, you become damaged goods" - Floyd Mayweather Sr.

There you have it folks, BOTH trainers, Mayweather Sr. and Freddie Roach, have come to the same conclusion, as well as the fighter who ruined Hatton, Mayweather Jr. Hatton was damaged goods after his loss to Floyd Jr.

This is EXACTLY what I said in my thread below.

It's clear, Floyd Mayweather Jr. beats fighters and Arum picks them as opponents for his own fighters. He did the same thing with Cotto, putting Floyd's leftovers in the ring to make him a star.

The trend is obvious, "Floyd destroys them in their prime, other fighters get his sloppy seconds". :gay:

I said Hatton vs Pacquiao was NOTHING more than the "Battle of the leftovers". We all know Pacquiao lost twice to Marquez, and Hatton was destroyed by Mayweather Jr. I said the REAL fight between the two best fighters in the sport is on July 18.

Now Arum is trying to wait for Cotto, hoping he beats Clottey, so he can match him up against Pacquiao. I told everyone that you're kidding yourselves if you thought he will put Pacquiao in the ring with Mayweather after he beats Hatton.

After Margarito destroyed Cotto (and his chin), Cotto was going to leave Top Rank Promotions. This is a win-win situation for Arum. If Pacquiao beats Cotto, so what, Cotto was going to leave anyway, and if Cotto beats Pacquiao, he can setup a rematch with Mosley and duck Mayweather, for financial reasons, once again.

Pacquiao vs Cotto , Arum's, "The battle of the leftover lovers" (DLH, Hatton & Judah, Corley)

Marquez vs Mayweather, July 18, "The Battle for p4p Supremacy!"

so why didn't Paulie beat Hatton then?

Pacquaio basically fought Hatton at his best weight and KHTFO there too. Something Floyd didn't do till the later rounds at a weight Ricky didn't belong in. People said Hatton was going to KO Pac, and DLH was going to KO Pac. He's defying the odds - give him his due respect.

Watch the fight again. Lederman says that Paulie was not the same fighter in the ring that night. Paulie himself admitted that he wasn't right psychologically because of his hand problems. Which is why he didn't throw any punches.

Besides, Paulie has no power whatsoever, even a game Paulie can't expose Hatton's chin. Lazcano already exposed Hatton's decline in the 10th and 12th rounds, which proved Mayweather took his chin when he destroyed him, which is exactly what Roach himself said in the interview.

Pacquiao beat a damaged version of Hatton. I give props to Pac, but he didn't face the same version of Hatton that Kostyu or Mayweather did.

                  Excuses:

"I wore the wrong socks, they were itchy"

                  Facts:

"Hatton is not the same after his loss to Mayweather, he took something out of him which is why he was on Shaky legs against Lazcano" - Freddie Roach

"I took everything out of Hatton, he's got nothing left" - Mayweather Jr.

"Hatton showed signs of being past prime" - BBC after his fight with Lazcano

Yes, I thought Hatton had a chance against Pacquiao. Being washed up doesn't mean Pac will beat you. The washed up Morales already whooped Pac's ass so I thought a washed up Hatton could do it as well
