Ricky Hatton is still speaking in the 3rd person and won't give credit to Manny being better than him.
This is the problem with Ricky, he really thinks he belongs with the top P4P fighters in the world and the worst part is that he believes that he is better than them. He believed he was P4P # 1 in the world.
He said he'd rather be knocked out in the 2nd than outclassed for 12 rounds as if suggesting that Manny just "caught me with a shot".
You weren't caught with a punch Mr. Hatton, you were studied, analyzed and trapped. You were caught with 73 punches.
Manny didn't land a lucky shot, he knocked you down in the 1st with a right hook that they worked on for 8 weeks, every freakin' single day. And when you became wary of the right hook, he half-jabbed you with a right to make you react and timed you with a crackalin' left hook in the 2nd that put you to sleep.
You were outclassed so bad that Manny didn't need 12 rounds to put you away. Not even three, as his coach predicted. He almost did it one. Please give the man some credit.
