    Does Moorer deserve credit?

Freddie Roach's decision to hire Michael Moorer as an assistant trainer was questioned by many.

Did Roach make the right choice?

Most who have seen Moorer fight know that if nothing else he could atleast throw the right hook better than just about anyone else in boxing history.

It seemed that after Moorer's inclusion as the assistant trainer of Freddie Roach, Manny Pacquiao who had previously been considered a one-handed fighter by his critics, ended up using his right more than his left in countering Hatton's wild rushes.

Does Moorer deserve credit for this improvement?

I thought about this after the fight also and you definatly have to give him some credit. He was an awesome Southpaw fighter and I liked those moves that he was doing on Roach

Don't know what he may have done that directly contributed to Pac's win, but I guess their whole team should get at least some props. Mostly for Roach tho.

Why are people accessing the trainers, the fight didnt last two rounds, not much time to access much, but enough to tell that Ricky is not a smart fighter.

Michael Moorer help him alot on his right hand cuz
if you remember Michael Moorer was a southpaw with stronger right hand.

I dont think its not coincidence that first time Moorer in his corner
and we saw that vicious hook!

He was developing the right hand long before Moorer came in. In the Oscar and Diaz fights, Manny's right hand has been brilliant. Moorer doesn't deserve credit for Manny using his right, but I'm sure he deserves credit for something. Pacquiao looked better than ever on Saturday night.

I believe it was the Marquez fights that forced Manny to develop his right hand. Those fights were a blessing in disguise because they highlighted a few of Manny's flaws. Since then, he's looked much better. I favor him to beat Marquez more decisively if they fight again, especially if it's at 140.
