In a poll of highly regarded American sports analysts, 44 of 50 picked Taylor to stop Froch. The over-riding opinion was that hardly any of them have ever seen Froch fight so that must mean he isn't good. Are these people from the other side of the pond for real?
Dumb Americans, regarding the Froch-Taylor fight.

Who were these sports analysts? If they're ESPN, they don't know anything about boxing, so who cares. It doesn't prove anything about Americans in general, except that boxing is a niche sport. If they asked 50 American boxing experts I'm sure the results would be different.Comment

I think the "experts" see that Froch has no defense but he might have a great chin.
Taylor could stop Froch, he did almost KO Pavlik after all, but he hasn't stopped anybody in over 4 years. I see this fight going the distance with Taylor coming out the winner by a decision.Comment

If this is the article you're talking about, you're full of ****.
This poll was of 44 members of the boxing media (several of them from the Europe), and 29 picked Taylor to WIN, but not necessarily by stoppage.
So if you've seen some other poll where 44 of 50 pick Taylor to stop Froch, then cough it up. Otherwise STFU.
Until the OP proves otherwise, this is a bait thread with nothing to back it up. He's just starting **** and inciting nationalism.Last edited by dstew; 04-24-2009, 08:10 AM.Comment
is it their fault the majority doesn't know who Froch is? and are you really surprised?
