Bradley got up then took a knee. Doesn't a knee technically count as a knock down since Zab Judah took a knee against Cotto. Or was it counted as two knock downs? I don't know how the rule works. To me it should have counted as two knock downs even if Holt didn't technically knock him down two times in the first round.

It counts as 1 knockdown. He got up too quickly from the KD and decided to take a knee to recover.

Im not exactly sure on the rule for this but to me it counts as one knockdown because the ref had started the count before he took a knee. Had the ref finished the count and allowed the fight to continue, and then Bradley took a knee, that would probably count as another knockdown.

So, a fighter can effectively take almost EIGHTEEN SECONDS to recover?

Could Tim have stayed on his back for a NINE COUNT THEN TAKE A KNEE FOR ANOTHER NINE COUNT?

No, it has to be caused by a punch or to avoid further punishment. He just took a knee to clear his head and get his legs back.

What state? Unifications use the unifed rules, no 3 KD rule, cannot be daved by bell, only ref can stop the fight etc.

Doesn't mention the get up and take a knee theory.

that's not true at all. if you are tired and take a knee without getting punched, it's still a KD.
