How do I attach a picture on my hard drive to a post?

Trying to figure it out, so far all I can do is attach a picture that's on the internet.

Help?

How do I attach a file to a post?

To attach a file to your post, you need to be using the main 'New Post' or 'New Thread' page and not 'Quick Reply'. To use the main 'New Post' page, click the 'Post Reply' button in the relevant thread.

But when i look at down at the bottom of my "new post" page, i see:

You may post new threads
You may post replies
You may not post attachments
You may edit your posts

You need to host the image at a site like photobucket.com or tinypic.com. Then you copy the image location or IMG tag and paste it in your post. If you copy the IMG tags then you don't need to click on the "insert image" icon, you can just paste. If you copy the image location, you need to click the icon.
