To tell you the truth, nobody really knows. The best explanation I've been able to find (and frankly it doesn't explain very much) is that ******* aren't a ***-linked characteristic. In other words, ******* are just one of those ***ually neutral pieces of equipment, like arms or brains, that humans get regardless of ***.

I know why... it is because the human template is female.. We all start out as females..with a female brain and with breasts.. at a certain stage of pregnancy the fetus will or will NOT receive a dose of testosterone which will mutate the fetus into having male genitalia ..or not.. once the gender has been determined .. the fetus will receive additional doses of testosterone or estrogen which form the rest of the body and brain... should a dose be mixed up or missed entirely.. It can result in a male in gender.. but with a female brain or much less likely a female with male brain.. since the brain starts out female..
And there is you scientific cause for *******uality as well an explanation as to why men have *******
