The Klitschko Are The Biggest Heavys, But Fight The Shyest, Why?

Watched Vitali versus Byrd, Vitali seemed so gunshy against a guy who isnt known for power. Same with Vlad agaisnt Ibragimov, I understand fighting tall and all but why be so gunshy. They reach in shyly, almost like they are poking a dead lion to see if its really dead or not, what gives?

well, Hopkins is a frail old man, so he sort of gets a pass.

That's the best description I've heard of them yet!

I mean, Lennox also jabbed very cautiously at times - almost lion poking as well - but he always showed some real KILLER INSTINCT behind that jab and eventually followed through with some sickening bombs (i.e. Bruno and Rahman).

I've never seen even an ounce of killer instinct with the K brothers, as good as they are.

I can pick around 4 times as many fight where Wlad looks ****ing monstrous as you can with Hopkins. Hell, when was the last time Hopkins actually tried to be mean INSIDE the ring?

you can train somebody to fight in a different style from their natural one but you can't really change them. the klits are the kind of fighters that think too much in the ring, they're not naturally aggressive
