HBO Not Keen on Campbell-Judah, or Maybe Just Judah

For whatever reason, the network is not interested in Judah as an opponent for Campbell. What else does Judah have to prove or better yet, what does Judah have to offer now? He's one of Boxing's biggest under achivers, but yet he still manages to get title fights.

His highlights come from beating Corey Spinks and his chicken dance against Tszu. But I do give him a ballsy effort in the Cotto fight. In losing he showed a bit of his heart. But he needs to wrap it up and I'm not surprised HBO is passing on this fight.

Good artical but I think it's Soupy that HBO doesn't want

I don't think that it's Judah ( who is himself an abject failure) ...it' Soupy that HBO doesn't like and how could they? The man can't make weight, was getting outdid by a younger fighter, doesn't bring anything to the table to even garner HBO money.

Who is Soupy going to beat at 140...those boys are under 30 and they don't play. They will cremate Soupy in that boxing ring.

Judah may disappoint ever time he's in the ring but at least he's a name fighter who the general public know about....no one but boxing fans know who Soupy is and that doesn't get dollars and doesn't make cents.

I'm glad that HBO turned down this fight, hopefully they can put Judah in with one of the young lion...Judah may be a loser but he's a name loser, Soupy is just a no-name loser.
