The night before it doesn´t matter that much, but on the day like the other poster said pasta is a good idea, stick to foods you are accustomed to. A few hours before your tournament, you could have pasta with tomatoes and some ham or tuna, or sandwiches with whole grain bread, not too much protein or fat.
Not too much raw fruit or anything that could cause too much gas or diarrhea.
