Whats the difference between swimming hard for 30 minutes and swimming slower over an hour? and which would be more beneficial for an amateur boxer?

Swimming hard, like sprints with short rests. Amateur Boxing is 3 short rounds. If you can swim for an hour without stopping though you are in pretty good shape.
