  • Rafael: Major problems with Klitschko-Haye fight

This is what he posted in his live chat todat

"I was told today by Wladimir Klitschko's adviser that they are having huge problems with the Haye fight and that Arreola may still be an option for Wladimir to fight."

"Yes, they are major (problems). Hopefully, the issues will be resolved. I may blog about it later."

I would laugh my goddamn ass off if Wlad fought the Nipple instead, and the Nipple knocked him out.

I realize this is the least likely of scenarios, but the possibility is hilarious. Then we could have the Gayemaker vs. the Nipple, talk about a megafight.

      Haye is demanding too much:

      1) that they wait until June 20 instead of April or May, then Wlad won't have time to fight Povetkin before Sep 13 or to fight three tiimes this year

      2) that they fight in England, in Haye's home town and neighborhood

      3) that they use one of Haye's home refs, like Davis who worked the Barrett fight and didn't count Barrett's knockdown, or the English ref who counted out Gurov in 4 seconds, or the ref who let Haye hit Fragomeni when he was down.

It's Wladimir who has the three belts - he's the champion, but Haye has been behaving as if HE'S the champ, setting the terms.

Agree that Wlad should call the shots but how do we know that that's what the disagreement is about?

We dont. Its just the wlad nuthuggers who jump to the conclusion that its haye`s fault the fight hasnt been made yet.

Haye is desperate to fight wlad to prove to the world that he is the best. why risk losing the fight?

So was it all just a way for Haye to get his name in the papers? Raise his brand awareness? Make a fuss and then duck?

Haye will pull a Povetkin now and get injured.

Its probably over promotional rights.Haye needs to put his fighters hat back on and realise that he is the one stepping up.To be fair,he is lucky to be getting his shot at this time after 1 fight at heavyweight.Wlad doesnt have to fight him at this time and he could even make him wait until he works himself into a mandatory.
