Boxing for fun? At what age would you say it's not wise to
start boxing/Training/Fundamentals (for fun)? Haha I'm 25, I know basic stuff
as when I was younger my cousin who used to train taught me some basics but I was interested in re-visiting some of that for fun.
What do you think? Thanks for the input.

At 25 I don't think any trainers would want to mess with you unless you are serious about taking fights

Yea, I know its far too late to be seriouse.
Its more about the fun of it for me at this point.
I really just want a better understannding of the sport,
and IMO theres no other way to do it than to actually try.
Nothin' too crazy.
Thanks for the input.

I feel you. This would best describe me. I recently started training but I have no illusions of becoming pro. I simply enjoy the sport.

Nice, yea I'm itching to go to a gym and give it a go.
LOL, I wasn't sure if i was being irrational in thinking that I could go pick up some fundamentals. Thanks for the info.

I think you can go to any gym and train there "for fun." At my gym, my coach lets anyone train, young or old. 25 isn't that old. You can train and still do some amateur fights. A pro career is probably out of the question, but you can definitely become a good amateur.

As long as you train hard, the sky is the limit. Bernard Hopkins came into the sport late, and look at what he's accomplished. Audley Harrison didn't have his first pro bout until he was 29.
