Froch vs Taylor... who would win?

I'd like to see this fight because I'm not sure.

Call me a homer all you like, kids, but I'm gonna go for that weird-looking guy with the Polish ancestry. Two reasons.

One - Taylor has awful stamina. I see this as a "get Froch out of there in the first half otherwise he'll take over" fight.

Two - Froch has more of the devil in him.


I've never actually rated Sad Intentions that highly on here, but always got told I was a "bias brit" because he'd beaten two "P4P" guys....... never mind the fact that all three decisions were kind, but one was old/drained and the other was significantly smaller.

Still, when he got KO'd by the first championship level natural middleweight he faced it just proved me right. Again.

BTW: What do you think about all the Froch supporters suddenly going against him after his little rant about Calzaghe? It is a bit funny don't you think? If Taylor wins there are a few threads that need bumping. Mainly the "That Fat Yank Taylor is ducking Froch" and "Yank boxers are afraid of anything European".

When it comes to this fight, I look at the skill factor.

Taylor at 168 pounds against a solid Jeff Lacy (who came in at 181 pounds on fight night i think lol) looked pretty comfortable after spending most of the fight circling the ring whilst firing jab and uppercut counters, so i'm not too worried about his stamina at 168 pounds.

Then you have to look at froch's defense, its wide open at times for basic jab and right hands, now its one thing to have a chin against a guy you can simply fire back at, but a guy like taylor wont go into the trenches with froch, he will double up the jab to make froch try and lunge in, then counter, and taylor has good lateral movement, he wont be there for froch after landing.

And Taylor seems to hold his hands higher now, particularly the left hand, which was the reason pavlik got him in the 1st fight, by shooting the lead over taylors low left. Taylor seems to have sussed that out alot more now, and holds his hands higher up.

For me, Taylor is just in a different class to froch, and it will show when they fight. Only way i see froch winning is if the ref lets froch rough taylor up.
