Yeah big glowes is better, it will increase your endurance and it will make you feel faster and lighter when you go back to smaller gloves but it is more likely to make you slower, in the same way as you dont get faster by running upphill.

Go with a weight between 14-16 ounces that would probably be your best bet, Their are weight gloves such as these

I have never used them and dont know anyone who has, but to me they look like they would be uncomfortable and the weights would continously fall out, that is another alternative however I couldnt say I would recommend it either.

Boxing speed is like sprinting, weight wont encrease the speed, go fast on the bag, with short moment to train the short musle fibre.
