Margarito vs Mayorga If Mayorga beats Angulo????????

If Mayorga pulls the upset, and Margarito doesnt get ban, why not? They both got KTFO by Mosley, but Mayorga gave him more of a fight, and Mayorga is a bit worst boxingskill wise than Margo, but At the same time he is more effective with his amateur style and is more powerfull than margarito.

This could be a great great fight, punches flying all over the place, and could be a good comeback fight for Margarito and a step towards a title for Mayorga.

Whta you guys think???????????

I say Mayorga will land less, but more effective, while Margo will land a lot more, but not as powerfull. this fight will potentially call, The No defense brawl!!!!!!!!!!

I think this fight would be a GREAT idea.

It would be a toe to toe slugfest that wouldn't fail to please in my opinion.

Especially if this is going to be a regular HBO fight and not a PPV...


Both fighters fight in a VERY crowd pleasing style and mayorga is the trash talking king of this era...it would be such an awesome fight (for as long as it lasts).

Im very much in favor of seeing this fight.

yeah, even if mayorga loses but still manages to put up a good fight vs angulo marg-mayorga should happen, would be a very entertaining fight

mayorga can't make 147 though, his last fight (mosley) was fought at 154 (ricardo weighed in at 153 1/2) and the fight before that he weighed in at 164 vs vargas

he hasnt fought at welter since '03 against spinks

this fight would have to take place at 154 or even higher, or at the very least a catchweight of 150 or something

I wouldn't be surprised if Margarito-Cotto 2 happens but if that doesn't happen, this fight would be good at 154, as to who wins, it'll depend on whether Margarito's chin is indeed cracked, because Mayorga can still crack.
