that is becaus they are self employed and they dont take taxes of that money they received so they have to make estimated taxpayment during the year so they dont get penalized. also if they fill and pay late interest and penalties are apply which if he owes 6 millions. i dont want to see the interest and penalties on that amount.

also if he has a lien on his property is because its been more than 6 months without paying the account. soo if he has the money that many people say he has. why not pay it before???

$6,000,000 cash is a lot of money. Remember, a lot of sport stars invest in property, and business. Their money is tied up. If Floyd owes $6,000,000 it's probably because he doesnt have that kinda cash lying about or he would have payed it already. You don't mess about with the tax man for no reason.

He also has to pay a coach, manager, and accountant 10% of what he gets, so I doubt he is as loaded as everybody makes out.

I assume Floyd didn't include some money he won. And they looked at the tax records his opponet or promoter made in fight by fight and probably figured Floyd didn't claim 6mil. And when they did the audit they see money that should of been claimed by Floyd.
