Default Two weeks later and I still can't get over my loss...

I lost my fight last week and I still can't get over it... I got told it was a close fight but I was winning on points, then at the end of round 2 (by like 10 seconds), I get hit flush and get a standing count.... then I hit him a few more times and get hit and a standing count, the judges waved off the standing count (as it was believed to be a nudge)... after that I hit him only to be bombarded with punches, I block his punches with no punches landing on me and my corner stop the fight. My corner got bollacked for throwing the towel in by the officals and every person, even the opposite side believe I was unlucky and shouldn't of got stopped. I saw the video myself and I was clearly winning, but it was very close, second round other than the two standing counts, they were the only punches scored against me. I am still feeling very bad and can't get over it, feel like I let my gym down.

Anyone else feel like this? What did you do to counter it?

First, post your fight. If you already have, might as well put the youtube link in this thread.

Second, everyone loses. **** the haters. You'll get to fight again.

Just ****ing forget it dude. There is nothing you can do about it but make sure you train harder and it isn't so close next time. Especially if it is open comp, there is no need for you to dwell on this fight AT ALL. Letting your gym down? Sounds more like they let you down! Hard to tell exactly what happened because we can't see it but the bottomline is that the am's is all about getting valuable experience. Just take everything in your stride and when you are in the national finals or something like that, then worry about the outcomes of the big fights. Even then, I would advise taking pressure off yourself by treating it like more valuable experience. You tend to do better without pressuring yourself. When you are in the pro's one loss can put you back in your career. This is not the case in the am's, and especially in open comp. Forget your loss COMPLETELY and move on to get yourself more valuable experience for the pro's.

Get over the loss man.......just pretend you got owned in a sparring match. There.

If you keep contemplatng about your loss...it'll just eat you inside..... while you could've spent that energy towards training. Train your ass off for your next fight.. Best of luck!

i got stopped in my first fight aswell, i got hit with a big right hand and was fine and got a standing count. I carried on and the same happened again and i wasnt hurt at all, the ref gave a standing count and i put my gloves up to carry on, but the twat just said "stop". I was so upset lol and all my mates were there to see it and it was so mebarrassing, but i got back in the gym two days after and trained harder than ever. You will probably learn alot from losing, i did, and you should just bounce back stronger next time. take your anger out on your next opponent lol.
