Margarito didn't make his name off of Cotto, but after the Cotto win his stand at welterweight was set in stone.

And stop the Cotto trash talking, i said all the **** thats already being said about Cotto before the Margarito fight many disagreed with me and now a few people are bring this back from the dead, let it go. Cotto is just doing what any of us would do get a short cut to a title.

when rahman stopped the fight on a sissy cut against toney, THAT is ****ing quitting. cotto fought til he had nothing left and his trainer stepped in.

he fought and beat good fighters

sure he was rocked numerous times but he came back to win those fights except his last fight

Here is a Cotto nut hugger, because Cotto himself said he stopped the fight so he could live to fight another day.

Which in fact means, HE QUIT THE FIGHT HIMSELF.

You guys listen to what HBO says, the same channel that had Jim Lampley almost in tears when Cotto lost.

Really sit back and think about it, and be unbiased.

Shane hadnt won a meaningful fight in years, besides beating an old fat, washed up, fused back Vargas. Zab had just lost to Baldomir and Floyd.

How is Cotto NOT a hype job?

1 - He has never beat anybody for a belt.

2 - He squats on all of his titles.

3 - He hasnt beat anyone of note besides a washed up Shane, and Zab.

4 - He got rocked by Corley, Zab, Torres, even Paulie ALMOST dropped him.

5 - The first fight that he fought where there was supposed to be a fighter that had a real chance to win, he QUIT.

Again, How is he NOT a hype job?

how is Cotto a hype job he has faced the best competition out there and washed up Shane, and Zab were both fancied to beat Cotto infact many people said Shane would KO him

its obivous you are just a hater why else would you dismiss those victories and his willingness to fight the best

He hadnt had a SIGNIFICANT win since Sept. 13, of 2003!!!!!

Vargas was washed up, and Collazo lost to Hatton, a natural 140 lb'er.

Zab just lost to Baldomir, Floyd, and had a No Contest before Cotto.

Come on, just look.

Good names, at the end of their career. Why cant people see this ****.
