Pacquaio should be considering Hatton rather than De La Hoya.

Hell if Oscar wants to dance with someone his own size, then Margarito or Forrest would be more than happy to kick his butt. Its not a fair match up and i as well as anyone with common sense knows that Pacquaio is not winning this fight. Oscar is a junior middlweight and would going up against a natural featherweight. If i had a clown for pound list the way Darkstar777 does, then Oscar would be number one.

Hatton is a big money fight and would actually be even. Both fighters are 5'6 and i personally would favor Pacquaio. Either way it would be a great fight.

I would rather see pacman fight hatton I mean either way pacman will lose but at least with hatton it would be much more competitive and realistic big money fight.

the problem with hatton is after he fights pauli M he doesnt want to fight for 8 months lol
so pacman doesn't wanna wait till next summer to fight thats way to long to wait.

Agree 100%, De La Hoya is a ridiculous fight, whereas a Hatton fight would actually be competitive and likely a great fight to boot. I had thought that Pacquiao himself strongly favoured a Hatton bout, but I suppose De La Hoya's money talks.

        Bro
Pacman did want the Hatton fight but hatton said he is fighting paulie
and Hattons camp aka Golden boy didnt wanna offer a step aside fee to paulie.
So that fight is off the table.
Now we have to wash our tears after oscar demolishes the little pacmonster and robbing us of a better action fight with hatton.
Oscar really must hate pacquiao to be honest cause he wants to really bully and sadistically beat pacman in a brutal fashion.

Oscar needs to let pacman fight hatton instead more competitive in my opinion even though hatton will win by tko or ko it will at least be more plausible.

Alot of you guys saying that it would be a blowout are the same guys who would probably pick Pac to beat Forbes and Forbes gave Oscar a great fight IMO. 2nd, Oscar is a big guy now and I dont think he is the same guy if he goes down to WW. He probably will have to drain himself and be slow and weak. 3rd, I always say that Pac is much bigger then people make him out to be. No way is he a natural featherweight. He just killed himself to make weight. He's a big guy. Maybe not as big as Oscar but he's no kid in the ring

Pacquaio just fought his first fight at lightweight, 3 weight divisions smaller than the weight division that De La Hoya was fighting at just last year against Mayweather. Oscar is simply too big and the reach advantage would be huge. If Oscar looked like Giants compared to Mayweather and Forbes, then how would he look against little Pacquaio?

Forbes is actually a junior welterweight. He is bigger than Pacquaio yet he was still dwarfed by Oscar. It wold be bad management on the part of Pacquaio's team is they are actually condsidering taking this fight. Oscar needs to fight guys that are his size.

I was against Pac fightin Hatton til I saw how strong he looked at LW against Diaz. Now that fight makes some sense if Hatton beats Paulie, but I don't think he will.

A fight against The Hitman will be more realistic and MP has a big chance of pulling an upset.Their sizes are just even....
