Mayweather or Cotto at Super Lightweight?

Since all the Mayweather nuthuggers are talking crap about Cotto AS IF Floyd actually beat Cotto.

I want to know who do you think fought the better opposition at 140.

Cotto's opponents and their record at the time in his Title Fights at 140:

    Ricardo Torres 28-0-0
    Paulie Malignacci 21-0-0
    Randall Bailey 28-4-0
    Kelson Pinto 21-0-0
    DeMarcus Corley 29-3-1
    Mohamad Abdulaev 15-1-0
    Gianluca Branco 36-1-1

Floyd's opponents and their record at the time in his Title Fights at 140:

    Arturo Gatti 39-6-0
    DeMarcus Corley 28-2-1
    Henry Bruseles 21-2-1

So......who do you think fought the better opposition at 140? Mayweather or Cotto?
    20
    Cotto
    60.00%
    12
    Mayweather
    40.00%

    The poll is expired.

        Mayweather's résumé > Cotto's.

Floyd Jr. done it over 5 weightclasses.

You're isolating just one division where Cotto fought for years.

Floyd passed through on his way to bigger things.

There's no comparing they résumés overall --- because Floyd's is a whole new other thing.

Quit being one of these want to be iconoclasts who just rag on Floyd to act like they something smart.

So why do *****s come out and say who's Cotto beaten? If a comparison is going to be made between the two then it's has to be at Light Welterweight and Welterweight. Cotto easily surpases Mayweather at those weights.

                    That's convenient.

But you don't get to just edit out the first ½ of Mayweather's career as a fighter.

                    It doesn't work like that.

You have to take their achievements as a whole.
Look at where Floyd started. Look at where Cotto started.

You also don't get to overlook the fact that Mayweather was passing through weightclasses with a summit in mind.

                    De La Hoya @ 154.

                    Résumé 4 Résumé
                    Floyd > Cotto.

So quit with the nauseating propaganda.
