Javon Walker - Mayweather And Friends Responsible For The Beating?
As you've probably read or heard, Javon Walker was found Monday morning with an orbital fracture to his face in Vegas. That means he wasn't punched, instead it means he was hit with a blunt object, like say the butt of a gun.
The obvious question floating around has been, who exactly did this to Walker and what was he doing prior to this? Well, leave it to intrepid bloggers to find out. Kissing Suzy Kolber managed to track down that Walker spent early Sunday morning at Tryst - which is at the Wynn Casino - spraying $15,000 of champagne on people. Maybe not the best idea. He then did the identical thing at Body English at the Hard Rock on early Monday morning.
Then, With Leather went the extra mile and found out that Walker was apparently in a contest with Floyd Mayweather at Body English over champagne buying or spraying or whatever it is rich, dumb athletes do. And according to this message board, found by With Leather, Javon "got into a bidding war with Floyd Mayweather with champagne but floyd had 50 bottles of crystal and won. And later on [Mayweather's] entourage found javon on the street and beat his a**."
There's also a nearly identical rumor here. Javon bought over 30 bottles of Dom, and Floyd won, buying around 50 bottles of Cristal. When Floyd won, he then made it rain, throwing stacks of money off the balcony (The VIP tables are on a mezzanine overlooking the dance floor. Javon was on one side, and Floyd on the other). The rumor making the rounds among the staff there is that someone in Mayweather's crew jacked up Walker. This is of course a RUMOR. But, some of you may remember that Walker's teammate, Darrent Williams, died in Walker's arms in 2007 after being shot by gang****ers.
Williams was shot supposedly because Bronocs receiver Brandon Marshall had pissed off said gang****ers at a club by spraying them with champagne. Walker and Williams were also at the club at the time, and Williams was with Marshall when the spraying happened. Whether the Mayweather rumor is true or not, and knowing the people Mayweather hangs with it probably is, the scary thing is it appears Walker didn't learn anything from Williams' death. For God's sake people, don't spray $15,000 worth of champagne in clubs. Not that many of us will ever get that chance in the first place.
