Kessler: Pavlik has never fought a Division A guy!

To team palles website Mikkel Kessler today says that if Joe Calzaghe ends up fighting Roy Jones Jr., he wouldn't mind facing off against world middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik this autumn:

"I've told Mogens and Bettina Palle that I wouldn't mind fighting Pavlik. It's true that Kelly impresses with his power, but it's against opponents who neither move or punches back. He has never fought a Division A guy like myself!"

blah, blah, blah. Kessler fought the champ, and lost. Kelly won 2x when he stepped in with the champ. he also fought Miranda, who kessler ducked! tired of his bull****, and i am a fan of his, but he needs to stfu, and fight. Kelly's resume is fine for a 26 yr old, and better than kesslers. he is much farther ahead than kessler is at this point!

This would be a great matchup and will prove if Pavlik can hang at 168lbs and thereby futher legitimising a Pavlik-Calzaghe showdown at 168lbs.

That being said I think Kessler would win.

Kessler is damn site better than fighting Lockett, Rubio..... Kessler would destroy Pavlik it would be a silly fight for Kelly to take at this stage, Kelly should concentrate in unifying the division even though I would love to this fight.

I would love this fight to happen, but how is that going to happen when Kessler is constantly scheduled to fight bums. pull out of this worthless fight for a worthless belt, and go after the big fights...or else youll never get the chance for them to happen.

If Kessler couldn't knock Mundine, the man who knocked out Soliman, the man who lost to Winky, the man that lost to Hopkins, the man that lost to Taylor, that man who was knocked by Pavlik. Kessler doesn’t stand a chance with Pavlik by my Formula.

Styles make fights and this would be interesting. Kessler can punch but I think Pavlik has a good beard cuz JT never really hurt him with that kd. I think Pavlik KOs Kessler. I don't see Kessler as an A fighter.. Joe C. beat him easily, one sidedly.
