Hopkins: "I'll fight the mandatory,"

Florida, October 29-- The undisputed Middleweight Champion Bernard Hopkins confirmed his next bout with Howard Eastman at yesterday's boxing event in Miami, Florida. Oscar de la Hoya was in the same room with Hopkins along with other big celebrities in boxing. Bernard told our very own Marc Abrams that he'll fight Howard Eastman since he's the mandatory.

I've never seen Eastman fight but I hear he has power. I hope he loses so Tito can be the one to knock B-Hop off his throne.

I'm pretty sure Howard Eastman will beat Hopkins, he is older and more seasoned the Hopkins, Hopkins has very flawed technique and he beat an outmatched de la hoya who was already tainted by Felix Sturm. As you can see during Hopkins fight with Allen 3 and 2, he is very green if he is made to box and not use roughhouse tactics.

Where do you live? I think Hop can win this fight if he doesn't turn old overnight. Eastman is a typical Euro fighter meaning he doesn't show many different angles and he doesn't move well. He has the power, yes, but from what I hear he is not a skilled boxer (not that Hop is, but he is a descent one). I think you need either incredible power (which Tito has and couldn't KO him) or skills in the ring to beat Hop. That is why he won't fight Winky.

Eastman will not win, i believe he`ll go the distance but he won`t win. The Howard is eastman fight is a better one than a Tito rematch. Tito couldn`t win a rounds against Nard, he doesn`t deserve a rematch, what has he done to deserve a rematch?

i will say this if hopkins ko's eastman before the 7th round..run tito run...either way everyone has a fighter they just cant beat no matter how good u are...and for tito its hopkins...tito style will always be perfect for him...on eastman..i think hopkins will win and might even ko eastman when eastman starts getting gutsy
