Jermain Taylor vs. Mikkel Kessler

I'd pick Kessler all the way. He's one of the more technically proficient fighters in the sport, though almost to a fault (a little too conventional, needs to find a way to adjust on the fly when necessary). But against Taylor, that will serve to his advantage, as Jermain is outgunned in almost every department, save for hand speed - but I don't see the type that he boasts serving as a deterrent to Kessler.

The safe pick is Kessler by UD, that's probably what I'd ultimately go with.

Kessler by decision.

Taylor doesn't throw enough punches to disrupt Kessler's rhythm. Once Kessler gets into his rhythm, he's a hard fighter to beat. I think Taylor has a good enough chin to take Kessler's shots.

Close fight which could swing either way. I don't think a knock-out is in the cards in this one. . As for footwork I feel they are evenly matched. The edge in power goes to Kessler. However I think ultimately Taylors handspeed will win it for him.
