Holy Smokes, Yuri Gamboa's may 17 opponent

    Marcos Ramirez
    25-0
    http://www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php...4556&cat=boxer

They share a common opponent of Adailton De Jesus, Ramirez won a 12 round decision, and Gamboa won via 6 round stoppage.

I am excited about this fight, Gamboa is becoming one of my favorites, should be a good fight and good step up, they are arent bringing him up against journeymen.

Anyways also on that card on boxrec

    James Kirkland Vs Eromosele Albert
    Alfredo Angulo Vs Richard Gutierrez
    Odlanier Solis Vs TBA

    Subject to Change

    Hopefully HBO shows all four

It will be great exposure for the Cubans as this card will be shown on BAD. Gamboa has only faced guys with winning records, his management is not wasting their time on him.

Gamboa's people are bringing him along very fast. You can tell he's not with GBP or Top Rank, lol.

He's got tons of experience as a memer of the Cuban national team so he should be up to the challenge. At the rate he's going, he'll be fighting for a championship within a year, and that's pretty fast (assuming he wins 4-5 more fights).

i like gamboa but when he steps up, and ramirez is a mild step up, hope he stops the pbf style of posing, carrying his hands down low and pot shotting.hasnt had to show any defense yet. he's so strong.
he's been able to get away with it against limited compitition because of his speed and strenghth. so far.
        go gamboa!!!
