Even though I like J.Diaz I'm glad he got beaten

The whole Juan Diaz can do it all story grew tired on me.

    - Juan Diaz is amazing -

    - Juan Diaz about to be a college graduate and still a boxing champion. -

    - Juan Diaz training and studying at the same time......woow -

    - Juan Diaz will go to law school -

    - Juan Diaz for Mayor of Houston

    - Juan Diaz for President -

His people really thought he was gonna go through everybody for the next 4 years, remain undefeated, retire and go on to do all these great things outside the ring. I remember a fight early in his career, everybody thought he lost but the judges gave it to him and he was crying afterwards. Tonight he was in that same situation again and despite this fight being fought in Mexico, I'm glad they gave it to the right man who worked his ass off.

The great Amrican story, fantasy ride with Juan studying, training, maintaining a busy productive schedule and his mom tucking him in to sleep at 9 o'clock early at night is now over.

My advice: He should graduate and put aside the whole law school thing for the next 4 years if he plans to continue his boxing career. He is only 24, by the time he retires he will still only be 28. Plenty of time for politics after boxing.

    OR

He needs to retire for good from boxing and focus a 100% into his future career outside the ring. Doesn't work both ways.

I dont think he could go into law after 4 brutal boxing years anyway. He should just stick to law and save his brain.

...he's not even smart. i'm willing to bet his prof's are beefing up that "3.0" GPA of his....probably sits around 2.5 and they add a few. They do that alot to college athletes. And he is creme de la creme.

I was annoyed when in the pre-fight video he was complaining about working out all day and then going to school, well howbout working a ****ty low paying job all day and actually paying to go to school like a lot of kids do and they dont get big money from HBO and they dont ***** about working hard.

I guess he can't do both after all since he clearly lost tonight.
