Can America ignore an outspoken two division world champion?

Okay. Well many of you know Australia's most humble athlete Danny Green won the WBA light heavyweight title tonight. A great victory and well deseved by the nicest boxer.

But it leads to a massive pay day in a rematch with Anthony Mundine. A fight in which Mundine won last year by a wide UD. The rematch will likely occur at light heavyweight in June in Perth. A fight that Mundine should clearly win again.

My question for you guys is. Can America ignore a two division world champion. Assuming that Calzaghe fights Hopkins and Mundine has the full WBA super middleweight belt. And then he beats Green in July to win the WBA light heavyweight belt.

So Mundine will most likely be the WBA super middleweight and WBA light heavyweight world champion. Can America ignore a two division world champion, an arrogant one at that aswell?

Will they offer him big money to fight in the USA?

Trying to sound neutral here. And really want to here some replies. This is an interesting topic, because it can lead to so many different scenarios.

Mundine is very gifted, no doubt. But @168 he is a paper-champ. Beating Green makes him 2division-paper champ. So jeah, the US will properly ignore him. But reading his comments about 9/11 etc he could be promoted as the bad guy in the US.

When you have the perfect villain. A two division belt holder. One who has a flashy style there gonna come barking.

Its a matter of time before some big promoter snaps him up. Its very easy to market him for big PPV sales.
