I like him a lot as well. He still needs a few more fights but he looks great for as many professional fights as he had and he ism definitely one of my favorite up and comers.
He destroyed the other undefeated boxer last night. I only wished the ref didn't stop it because Ward almost floored the guy, I know they don't want to see anyone get hurt in there but I thought wards opponent wasn't about to pass over and die but just exhausted from Wards work rate. Now a days they don't even give boxing fans what they want, and thats a ko(****** ****ing refs).
good stoppages are fights like when the pavlik/taylor fight was stopped when taylor fell down as if he was a rag-doll
Theres no way Wards opponent was coming back, but it still pisses me off that they take Wards art away from him. He nearly knocked that kid down.
He is very good, this guy will do great things in the super middle weight division.
Excellent potential, but he makes a lot of mistakes and is still a bit awkward in form. Give him about 5 or 6 more fights and then I'll be willing to bet whatever on him. He's from my hometown too! You can call him "the pride of Oakland"..

Did you see the fight? The guy couldn't even hit Andre!!! Hahahaha, Andre made that guy look so bad.
Yesterday's fight showed that Andre is definitely above his competition, though I did see things, as far as movement from Andre that Cantrell could have capitalized on were he more seasoned. He looked pretty susceptible to the upper cut which Cantrell didn't use even though given the way Andre throws his Jab leaves him open at times and he seems to be off balance when he dips out, leaving him open for quick counters from someone faster and more aggressive. But I'm sure he can make adjustments and will be looking to improve. At this stage, there's always room for improvement.
