On now on ESPN Classic, I didn't know after Kim died, the referee and Kim's mother committed suicide. Thats nuts.

This fight did bring in the 12 round championship round to a start. But, i've heard and read that it is also so you can fit a championship fight int an 1 hours time for Television. The networks also wanted fewer rounds less time and more commercials = money for the networks. This wasn't mentioned. They should bring back the 15 rounds. So many fights would have ended differntly if 15 rounds were still around.

15 rounds would be great, the old timers did it, why not the new era fighters who have modern training equitment and training techniques. We would see a lot less robbers and draws.
