Just an update on the health of Bob Sapp. MMAWeekly.com's Scott Petersen is reporting from Japan that Bob Sapp does NOT have an orbital fracture.
There where a few statements released after his last fight with Mirko Cro Cop that said he had a fracture, but that is not the case.
Sapp has some tissue damage and blood in the eye and that's been the biggest problem for him at this time.
It looks as though Sapp will be flying to the United States in a few days and will be checked out by a doctor, and then he will follow that visit to Nevada as doctors check him out in Las Vegas.
Here's the good news for fight fans in the States. As long as both parties pass him, he will be fighting in the Vegas K-1 show in May. We orginally reported he would not be at that show, but now it looks like if the doctors give him the green light, he will be ready to go.
