Just got Home from Versus Card(Couple Observations)

- Montiel is super talented but the ****er needs to keep his hands up,he was totally in control then he starts getting ****y and got dropped hard.

- Montiel Vs Melendez is one of the best fights Ive ever seen live, alot of drama, both dropped,head butts, Awsome ending.

-Vanes Martirosyan Fought some scrub and dident impress me that much. He has a few things going for him though, He's trained by Freddy Roach. There was a big Armenian following, So the guy can sell tickets.

Jeff Lacy was there, Hopkins, Pacmans team.

Good Night at the fight I hope everyone watched this card. I think its the best fight since versus started televising fights.

I've only been to one fight live, and it was with both Marquez brothers fightin. Raph was fightin Mabuza, and Juan was fightin that thai guy, and those punches sound brutal. You'll never appreciate a blistering body shot until you see that **** live in person, it's insane to see these guy's stand for over 4 rounds after shots like that. Juan dropped that thai guy with a body shot that was louder then the ****in crowd, lol it was awesome.

I went to the first Marquez v. Vasquez fight, fight was awsome, when each fighter got dropped the crowd reacted instantly. A lot of famous people were there as well as boxers

I've only been to Jones vs Tarver III (I live 10 minutes outside of Tampa) but I couldn't hear ****. Campbell vs Kid Diamond got more oohs and aahs but the place (St. Pete Times Forum) showed the most love for RJ. Great atmosphere, but I'll never go to a fight there again, its too hard to focus on the fight when there's 18,000 people around you in a stadium designed for hockey.

Yeah I try to go to as many fights as I can, I'll probably go watch barrera pac, Im living in Vegas so I might as well make the most of it.

By the way The Joint was a great venue for boxing I sat at the mid level(75$)
ringside were (125$) but the truth is, there isnt a bad seat in the house. I highly recoment anybody going to a fight there.

That fight was amazing, I'm still pissed Marquez lost the second fight. I think Vasquez is just too big and strong for him.
