Hatton and Cotto..Who's the better fighter and who has had the better career so far??

    thoughts???

p.s. this isnt about who would win if they fought each other
this is about who you think is the better and has accomplished more so far in their respective careers

I'd say hatton, he has had 2 huge fights where he has won and is now signed to fight the best fighter in the sport, cotto is good but still needs worked, he is a bit of a dirty fighter, his head gets in alot without anyone noticing, which is a gd thing i guess lol

Cotto beat more good fighters than Hatton, but never beat any great ones. Hatton has two greats on his record. Of course if Hatton loses to Mayweather and Cotto beats Mosley then it will get closer.

In the cold light of history in career to date Hatton edges it but only slightly. One thing Hatton hasn't really done is consistently fought top prime undefeated opposition, whereas Cotto has.

Hatton has a better resume and is in line to fight the biggest fighter as of right now.

As of now Hatton has the best resume by a mile or so.

As for who is the better fighter:
I would pick Cotto to beat Hatton, Hatton-PBF to close and PBF-Cotto to be an easy fight for PBF.

And Cotto has beat who in their prime? Everyone he has faced.
And Cotto has beat who that is good? No one.

Zab Judah, good for the first 4 rounds, and then he stops. Cotto might have gotten credit if he had beaten Zab in a 4 round fight, but other than that, no dice.

I agree 100% with whoever said:
                  Hatton has the better resume.
                  Cotto is the better fighter.

Your logic confuses the hell out of me but I guess you are saying "styles make fights."
