Did Hatton really say Mayweather had to fight him at 140????

I've googled "Hatton Mayweather" just recently, and I got several sources complaining about Hatton demanding the fight happen at 140 according to Hatton's father???? Is that right? That is horse**** if true. Somebody please confirm. I've seen articles about it and blogs complaining about it. Apparently it was released on the 12th when I was wasted.

Thank God. Hatton would be ridiculed for life if that was true.

Does it even matter? Mayweather can make 140 and then there will be no excuses.

His last fight was two weight divisions above that. You're being ridiculous if you expect Mayweather to come down to fight him. Whether he can make it is irrelevant. Roy Jones made 175 after a heavyweight fight. Should he have? Hell no.

Besides, Hatton turned down a 140 fight with Mayweather this time two years ago, so save the excuses for the British fans who will use it to their advantage.

Floyd came in at 148lbs against Oscar. You make it seem like 140 is an impossible task for Floyd.

They both know the fight will only happen at 147,

hatton weighs nearly 170 pounds outside the ring, so is it okay for mayweather to ask him to do the fight at 154? no its not

Same way its silly to ask mayweather to boil down to 140,

Mayweather moves down a weight class, hatton moves up a weight class,

                Things are even.
