Mayweather is a *****!!!!! Running his mouth as usual. I say if he is gonna talk **** he should step up to the challenge. I would love to see Dana White offer him big money because you know he would make some excuse like he always does. I don't recall Mayweather ever making 20 million dollars, he's not even making that much to fight Oscar.

his style wouldnt do too good in MMA cause he doesnt really hit hard but he has a chance. Now Trinidad vs Sherk would have Sherk laid out dead. W.Klit would kill Sylvia. The bottom line is that if a boxer trains in the ground game he would absolutely destroy MMA. Most the champs in MMA are pretty much "strikers" that have good take down defense like Wanderlei Silva, Anderson SIlva, Rich Franklin, TIm Sylvia, Arlovski, Shogun, Mirko Cro Cop, Chuck Liddell, GOmi, Jens Pulver etc etc. Any top boxer has WWWAAAAYYYYYY better stand up skills than any MMA fighter and if they develop a decent enough ability to stop takedowns theres no way Liddell or GSP could beat them.

MMA has demonstrated with their own champs that the striker with any takedown defense can be very successful and Boxers have another level of striking capability so the possibility is there. If Sam Peter, Jermain Taylor, JUdah, Shane Mosley etc trained for awhile on the ground game who could beat them??????? Do you really think Sherk could dive in for a takedown and and eat 5 of Mosleys??? Now just imagine, if Liddells sloppy ass can be SO dominate can you imagine how dominant Shane Mosley with lets say a blue belt in jiujitsu would be???????

Im a huge fan of both but

IN boxing, the MMA fighter has NO chance.
IN MMA, the boxer has a punchers chance.

White: "..They are much better athletes than boxers.."

Give me a ****ing break..

That's proof this guy is full of ****.

Boxers are WORLD CLASS athletes!

I have eyes goddamit..

I've seen these UFC guys. I know what a ****ing athlete looks like.

A few guys in the MMA are good athletes but overall the ratio of good athletes in Boxing over MMA is 10-1 at least.

Legends like Couture get knocked cold with one ****ing shot.

That's not WORLD CLASS anything..

(And don't tell me **** about gloves I don't want to hear it.)

in boxing the MMA fighter would also have "the punchers" chance
say the boxer thrown in the octagon is chris byrd?
o some other feather fisted fighter
its nice to think that
but its the same
like id said before
in either case
one will always have a substantial advantage in the form of being in their element

bull****, if you take a knee you have to get up. In MMA if your tired or rocked you can bring the fight to to the ground and lay-n-pray. Like Ive said and Ive done both. MMA is more fun and like a fight, I wasnt gettin tired as much and there is alot of slow downs. Boxing is more grueling and takin shots and your arms are getting tired and theres really no way out cause you dont have the option to throw a kick since your arms are tired, and you cant just go to the ground like in MMA, you have to stand and fight.
