CALZAGHE vs MANFREDO: Am I the only one thats convinced by MANFREDOs confidence??????

    U know?

Manfredo and Leonard sound soooo confident. And its a different kind of confidence u know?

Its not like, "I've been ignored for so long, Calzaghe is gonna pay the price for that. im the best ever..."

Its more like, "I've trained my ass off for this, i have so many things motivating me and so many people behind me, and ive got so many different stradegies that there is no way i can lose.

    U know what i mean?

I think Calzaghe has been a little lax on the competition, and if Manfredo has grown the way Leonard says he has grown, then i think Manfredo is the best fighter hes ever faced. Other then maybe lacy

And thats says a LOT about the competition Calzaghe has faced.

I smell an upset. I've always been sayin hed have a good showing against the champ, but im thinkin HUGE upset just based off the confidence this guy has. and leonard to

    he has convinced me

No you're not the only one - I'm sure there are at least 3-4 others on a global scale.

But other than that i don't think a fighters confidence in himself - or other individuals who for whatever reason chooses to back him - means feck all.
Some will downplay their own chances - most will overrate them - a few will explode in an orgy of narcissism. The quiet one may easily be the most dangerous.

If a fighters own opinion of himself is what matters, then Carl Froch would be undisputed ruler of SMW and P4P no 1.

There's about 99.9 % chance you're dead wrong with this hunch.

There will be no upset. Not even in Manfredo's dream.... I'm willing to stake all of my e- life points on this.

Confidence is necessary but not sufficient. Once Calzaghe starts slapping him the confidence will disappear. he might have some dignity left but he will lose confidence

If Calzaghe loses, his value will become zero overnight.

However I think Manfredo will get beat up.

Sugar Ray Leonard chats **** sometimes.

That would be great if Manfredo beat Calzaghe, but I just don't think thats going to happen. It's in Calzaghe's backyard and he's going to want to put on a show for his people and the world. It kind of smells like upset, but us americans I think are only wishing it will happen.

Imagine his popularity in the US!

He is the first star from the contender to fight for a world title.

Casual fans know and love the guy. Even non-fans know a little about him because of the show and the popularity of the first season.

If he wins he would be HUGE here.

Like inbetween 500,000 PPVs and 800,000 PPV buys for a superfight against Dawson.

U know the money thats involved if this guy could win? im talking about 50 million or more total in his next few fights!

Thats enough for any promoter or manager or trainer to be on his case and checking up on him alllll the time.

im excited to see if he can do it

Manfredo has lost to a light welterweight. And has no chance of causing an upset. He is **** realy.
