If Cotto tries to brawl he gets clipped and dropped and hurt...but if he boxes smart then i think he really has a chance

When Manny caught him Cotto was exchanging with Manny trying to start a war. That is how Cotto fights. Cotto issue in this fight is that he didn't respect Manny's power and by the time he did it was too late. Yes he was trying to brawl with Manny and got caught and dropped. That is what happens when you get into a war with Manny.

Yes , just like he used to make 140 which he never could when he made 146 , and if 146 was redline then 8mths later 145 can be the straw that broke the camels back ,,,,, you need to understand the dynamics of weight in boxing .

sorry , im not into excuses...and the cotto that punished floyd is easier target than the one pac fought coz cotto did'nt run in that one..pac had to chase cotto and still beat the **** out of him, how much more if he did'nt

I don't know. It didn't look like weight draining was much of a factor in the first fight, Cotto looked very healthy. He would have a bigger size advantage and would put more hurt on Manny but he couldn't really catch him at the catch weight, it's hard for me to imagine him catching him at 154. I think Manny still takes it.

When cotto fought PAC at 145 his last fight was at 146 only 1lbs off. It' not like cotto have been fighting at 154 for 4-5 fights then have to drop down to 145 for PAC so the draining part is lol
