              Adding to the list of players with good arms, Melky Cabrera and Brett Gardner have strong throws as well. I don't think anyone tries to stretch out hits on Gardner anymore.

                If you're naming recent guys with cannon arms, the top dog by far was Rick Ankiel. You rarely see a former starting pitcher who had 98 mph stuff playing the outfield (because if you can throw that hard you're a pitcher, not a position player).
