Gotta go with Floyd, for the simple fact that he can sit in the pocket and make the ropes his home. I don't think I need to go any deeper than that.

Rigondeaux is the purest boxer in the world, and prime 4 prime he is the better and more skilled fighter, just deal with it.
For some people saying that Floyd isn't the best, most skilled fighter is like a blasphemy. It's like when people thought that the Earth is flat and thinking otherwise is complete foolish.
Floyd is great. Rigondeaux is greater
if you watched the fight-nonito lost because he couldn't deal with rigo's movement and he couldn't cut off the ring. I agree rigo is highly skilled-but if nonito can learn those things he could very well beat rigo in the rematch.
Your last paragraph is crazy.

Rigo is much more active with the jab and doesn't have to hold when a opponent throws and gets inclose. This is much better because when your holding your getting hit ala Guerrerro and Cotto. Rigo's footwork is like a trackstar. Floyds like a ballerina.
P4P
Speed -Rigo
Footwork - Rigo
Power - Rigo
Defense - Rigo
And when it comes to resume, Donaire is better than anything Floyd's ever done. Even tho that was a much closer fight than HBO had it.

Of course it's subjective but that's why this forum was created, to debate.
We therefore must look at objective facts. Rigondeaux has had just 12 fights only one of which was against decent opposition. Due to his ridiculously inactive style he had trouble with Cordoba and was taken to a split decision (it should have been unanimous in favour of Rigondeaux but he still looked **** because he's totally inactive). He's been on his ass more than once. Mayweather has had his glove hit the canvas once against Judah but he's never been on his has, despite being a less cautious fighter than Rigo, fighting in weight classes where knock outs are more likely, fighting the generally better opposition and having 4x as many fights, without the benefit of starting his pro-career with 400 amateur fights. Rigo is only a top 10 pfp boxer after his 12th fight because the guy is ****ing 32 lmao and had 400 amateur fights so it's not as impressive as you make it sound. It's nothing to do with talent that he got this after 12 fights it's age and experience.
As for Rigo having troubles with Cordoba well Floyd arguably lost to Castillo you seem to forget about it.
And no Rigo isn't in TOP P4P list beacuse he's 32 and had rich amateur career, it that was the case Odlanier Solis would also be p4p fighter. Rigondeaux is there beacuse he won his first won title in his 8th fight and totally schooled and outclassed a guy who was top5 P4P at the time, who was named fighter of the year 2012, and who was undefeated for 12 years.
And he did it in his 12th fight.

Anyone claiming this 'isn't even close' is having a laugh.
It is extremely close and theyy are easily the two most skilled fighters in the sport. I have no complaints about somebody picking one or the other.

Actually beacuse Rigo achieved such a succes in pros after so great amateur career is the reason to praise him. He's one of the very few who suceeded both in amateurs and pros. Floyd was KD by Judah, and would've been by Mosley if he didn't play dirty and hold Shane's hand after that right hand.

The thing is the fact that Rigondeax came good so early in his pro career is nothing to do with talent. He is talented of course but he came good so early in his pro career because he'd already refined his skills.
Also, when Zab got knocked down against Floyd it was a balance knockdown in which only his glove touched the Canvas. Rigondeaux has been properly put down.
The poll results speak for themselves. Mayweather is the most hated fighter around and he is winning this 7;3.

Rigo can do alot of what floyd does in terms of hit and not be hit.....
But floyd is way more versatile....
Both can fight going backwards, but floyd can fight in the pocket with the best of them, and can pretty do anything he wants in the ring in textbook style.....
Rigo is a great boxer, but floyd on another level
