It is a culturally thing. If it is raining, everyone here talks about how the day feels for one of the three S or the three S. Sabana, Sopa & Sexo

for some reason every time it trained all day in PR abuela made some sopa de pollo, three decades later it's still my favorite dish on a rainy/snowy day...soups taste better on ugly days.
