    I may not remember correctly but he isn't a HOF because he bet in the sport of baseball, correct? Was that all it was? If so, big freaking deal.

      Yes the man with the most hits in baseball history deserves to be in the hall of fame. I look at it from the perspective what he did on the field.

        Betting on baseball is an unforgivable sin in the MLB. I can understand why with the Black Sox scandal. But come on, he bet on his own team for Christ sakes.

              The guy is a douchebag but he is the hit king and he earned a spot in the hof with his play on the field. I say let him in.

                He deserves to be in the HOF based on his on field performance...
