You can put that down to a halves pairing of Keating and Reynolds, neither overly creative, Reynolds was a NSW cup hooker up until recently and I think Keating is pretty hopeless. While Hodkinson is no world beater he's a pretty massive step up from Keating in my opinion.

Yea as good as the Storm's defense was the Dogs were clueless near their line. To be honest the standard of halves in the NRL has dropped dramatically in the last few seasons. Especially in NSW.

I would've totally agreed 12-18 months ago but the emergence of players like Shaun Johnson, James Maloney, Daley Cherry Evans has bucked the trend a bit.

Still a bit of a lack of class though. Good to see every club has a somewhat established half on their books this season, much better than years gone by in my opinion.
