Firefly series and movie

I loved the series which lasts only 10 episodes and the follow up movie to close it out is one of the most original movies I've ever seen.

Joss Whedon is da man!

I watched the series when it was on and it was alright. The movie, Serenity was surprisingly really good and made the series better.

I can agree about the series having a lot to offer if it continued. Let me ask, did you watch the series or movie first?

I was curious I my seeing the series long before the movie affected my call.

The series was certainly promising.
I mean, I was browncoating for years after Fox dropped it.

Serenity showed me that a second season probably would
have been a letdown. Never mind how offing Book, and most
especially Wash, pissed me off no end. Mal's sky was getting
smaller and smaller just 3/4 into the first season, so Whedon
was either going to follow that trajectory to a premature end,
or (much more likely, lol) drag it out into multiple seasons of
navel-gazing filler if the show had been renewed.

My wife had a girl-crush on Morena Baccarin's Inara, lol
(I favored Jewel Staite's Kaylee.... and it seems all other fans
were into Christina Hendricks' YoSaffBridge.
