Well obviously Wilder has the highest KO ratio of all time as well as the highest KO speed because nobody has ever wasted that many opponents within so few rounds ever before.

Of course, we DO have to adjust his performance to the truth and consider bums and non-bums when making a proper assessment.

If you delete all mathematical bums off all boxers records (those that have lost more than a quarter of their fights) and greens with less than a dozen fights, then it becomes clear that Wilder is a hard puncher and finisher and fast starter but nothing particularly special.

His fight with sickened Stiverne completely exposed his power, which is now considered "not adequate enough to knock out an iron chin within 12 rounds despite continuous scoring". So yeah it's great against bums mainly but fails at top level.

Lb for Lb, Golovkin is a way better puncher (and boxer) by far.

Anybody who has a title is a reigning champion, Wilder has one title just like GGG.

Wilder is a titlist who has Wlad, the champion, calling him out.
GGG has been the recognized #1 since Martinez openly ducked him, and now Cotto as well. The situations are clearly 180 degrees apart.

So since when is Golovkin not a paper belt holder? Even Lampley had to admit that Cotto is THE champion @ 160...

Of course GGG is seen by most people as the best in his division, unlike Wilder, but technically they're both reigning champions.

LOL @ Wilder! He has a high KO ratio against C level opposition & most of those were ancient! At B+ level & championship level he hasn't knocked anyone out! Even that guy that was stopped by C level bum Demetrice King! Stiverne is a blob who had one decent but unspectacular opponent! Arreola sloth from the Goonies... Who was B level himself! Anyone with half a punch can KO the Harrison's & 38 year old Liakoviches of this world.. Wilder has probably the worst opposition resume of a champion in all of boxing! As soon as he stepped up the KO run ended...

And he had Stiverne, whose chin is pretty damn good, stumbling around.

                  Wilder's power is legit.
