Closely contested fight. Forget hideous scorecards (90-80, 89-81 & 87-83 all for Quillin) compiled by 3 blind mice Cheeks, Roldan & McNair. WBO middleweight champion Peter Quillin scored a flash knockdown in round two on Gabe Rosado - after that they fought on even terms. Quillin, who was the busier fighter, had just an 8 punch edge in total punches landed. Rosado's cut was wide, but wasn't bleeding excessively. He should have been given an opportunity to continue. only read the article summary I thought the fight was competitive but had Quillen up by a few rounds at the time of the stoppage. GGG owned Rosado quillen edged out the majority of the rounds while looking vulnerable and being wobbled a couple of times

The Problem with Rosado, and he did the same thing against Love, is that he does not seem to have that extra gear when the momentum starts to go his way. He takes the foot off the gas. He was more than competitive with Love, and with Quillin. He had the opportunity to turn it up against both when they were starting to wilt. He didn't. He is not going to get the benefit of the doubt against them when they fight for the A-Side.
He has to go in and take it against a GBP fighter. He blew it against Quillin in the 5th round. He should have went in and taken it to KC, but decided to show boat instead.

A rematch is warranted. Espacially if Haymon is going to keep putting Petey in with lower tier fighters. The man is over 30...enough with the local attraction BS.
