Pretty much to get Khan to relax and let fighters come to him, Since he would be quicker than most of his opponent he would get them in the end AKA Mayweather or Ward, Problem is Khan would probably need 5-6 fights with Hunter before he can develop that mentality.

Very true, but a major similarity is that the signature fighter of both trainers is one that they've had since childhood.

Ward won in spectacular fashion against Dawson. (trained by Hunter)

Angulo won in spectacular fashion against that journeyman. (trained by Hunter)

And now it's time for Khan to shine. (trained by Hunter)

The pressure is once again all on him. Let's see if he loses his focus and goes in to slug it out and gets ktfo again.

He's a bit boring but he should get credit for beating Cotto.

              ???

Kahn got up and looked okay, his pride then took over and started going toe to toe with garcia and got hit flused several more times, yet he suvived the round.

Have in hell can anyone translate that into kahn has a glassjaw is beyond me.

Virgil explained it perfectly, the problem is that he got hit with that horse kick off a punch, and that he decided to go toe to toe with danny after it happent, both of witch has nothing to do with his jaw.

You are simpleminded and need a simple answer and that is why its easyer for you to beleive that all kahns faults lie in his chin, its sad really

If you watch Linares getting stopped by Thompson it's the same thing. The guy would be out of position and desperately vulnerable, but instead of trying to shut the situation down he's still looking to get punches off.

I suppose the question is whether or not a guy can learn the defensive tricks at that age and execute them at the world championship level.
